Participants will also have the opportunity to spend time learning about Romanian culture during visits to several cultural sites in Romania.

Outdoor Leadership Development and Teambuilding
Participants will have the opportunity to participate in canoe, hiking and bike trips as well as be involved in some group outdoor challenge activities to foster teamwork and creative thinking. We will also have the opportunity to play football (American translation: soccer!), frisbee and other outdoor games as the interest arises.

Who is Writing this to me Anyway?
Cata and Jay – two youths like you, committed to creating positive change in the world around them. We work at PATRIR, play various instruments, have spent lots of time traveling and learning from the people and the world around us and like to wear hats with lots of character. Jay’s done everything from working on farms and boats to running off and joining the circus. Most recently, she was working as a relief worker along the US Gulf Coast in the regions affected by Hurricane Katrina. Cata has done a lot of volunteering for different NGOs but most for scouting where he has organized national and international camps, seminars, workshops, and training courses.

you’ll find the application that you need to send us as well as a flyer about the camp that you can use to show people if you do any fundraising to cover your expenses or that you can share with others who might be interested.

Thank you for everything that you have been doing to make an impact in your own community. We hope that you will have an opportunity to come and share with us and learn from others. If you, or your parents, have any questions or ideas for things that you’d like to see at the camp, our information is below, please do not hesitate to use it! We love to hear about things going on outside of our little office in Cluj!
